Washington Spring Cherry Blossom Festival

April Travel Update

We have just came back from a wonderful 5 day trip to Washington D.C. With 39 Probians in our group, we visited what must be considered one of the most impressive cities in the U.S. if not the world. The city is rich and full of history. We made several visits to the huge Washington Mall featuring many magnificent buildings, museums, and monuments. Our tour included  visits to some of the famous Smithsonian Institutions, including the popular Air & Space Museum, and the Newseum, the world’s most interactive museum.  We viewed the annual Cherry Blossom Parade and paid a sobering visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Some free time allowed us to explore on our own. Clearly we could have spent another 5 days here and still not seen everything. All in all a fabulous trip !
